Current openings: Fabrication Project Coordinator – Full time with immediate selection and onboarding available

Location: Chemainus, British Columbia, Canada

Key Accountabilities:

• Ownership of entire project scope and ensuring all departments are aligned
• Organization of all specialty materials, third party contractors and resources required to successfully execute projects
• Coordinate with 3rd party contracts for successful shop drawing creation and approval
• Development of high-level work plans to meet or exceed the clients schedule, cost and quality goals while maintaining our competitive advantage
• Review customer requests and supplied drawings for fabrication accuracy and manufacturability
• Oversight of ordering, packing and staging of all required project materials
• Attend on site meetings to measure and assess the scope and conditions of projects when required
• Project updates and creation of all supporting documents and paperwork to meet or exceed customer expectations
• Coordination of packing / shipping and Quality control of projects
• Ensure shop precise and accurate drawing creation and packaging in preparation for production
• Working directly with the customer and their team as required to support the success and completion of projects

Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience in the fabrication industry
• 2+ years project coordination experience
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Able to communicate well and strong organization skills
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Motivated and able to take initiative in the workplace
• Works well in a team environment

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
