Is Macon Fabrication certified for all welding services? Macon Fabrication has both the CWB 47.1 certification for steel and CWB 47.2 certification for aluminum.
Material processing
We have a variety of band saws capable of cutting up to 20” structural members. Plus, we have multiple press brakes for forming metal — our largest press being 350 tonnes and 14’ long, offering high-definition plasma cutting with a CNC 10’ x 20’ cutting surface. For more precision, we have a 6’ x 12’ water jet table.
LAser table:
Macon Fabrication’s laser table is state of the art and provides a top tier finished product. With several advanced capabilities, such as part etching, Macon’s laser can satisfy any material processing needs. Our Mazak laser cuts a variety of steel products. Macon Fabrication’s clients have the option to cut mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other exotics, all up to one-inch-thick steel. Our experienced team has the ability to initiate accurate and repeatable profile cutting. Plasma Table:
At Macon Fabrication we take pride in our ability to produce quality cut parts, efficiently. Our plasma table features the Edge Connect CNC module and a 10’ x 20’ modular zoned downdraft table. This allows Macon Fabrication to set a new standard for cut quality on various materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. What kind of equipment do you have? Macon Fabrication is outfitted with a variety of equipment to meet our client’s needs. We currently have the following in house: Press Brake, Plasma Table, Laser Table, Waterjet, Vertical Bandsaw, Horizontal Boring Mill, CNC Lathe, Milling Machines, Drill Press, Sandblasting Booth, and Paint Booth.
