Operating in demanding concrete and aggregate production environments, this equipment is exposed to continuous abrasion and heavy loading. The bucket had experienced significant deterioration to the side cheeks and cutting edge, compromising both performance and longevity.
Precision Steel Fabrication and Component Replacement
Our team removed the worn side cheeks and captured the existing geometry using Macon Fabrication’s in-house digitizing table. This process enabled the creation of accurate templates and the cutting of new steel components to exact specifications, ensuring proper fit-up and structural alignment. New side cheeks and a replacement cutting edge were fabricated from high-strength steel and installed to reinforce key wear areas and improve long-term durability.
