Our team of fabricators, machinists, designers, welders, fitters, painters, estimators, and sandblasters combine their diverse skills to complete complex projects.
We have experience and certification in CWB 47.1 and CWB 186, heavy equipment repairs, welding, large-scale fabrication, and the latest 3D software that gives us the ability to see all projects before they begin. This helps us to guarantee fitment, exact weight, and measurement. No matter what the project, our team is up for the challenge.

Ben Marks
Ben’s career in welding and fabrication began in 2001. His roots are in heavy equipment repairs, structural steel, and fabrication. With a keen eye for detail that’s been described as borderline “fussy,” Ben’s desire for perfection means that nothing is ever overlooked. The result: Quality, dependable, and consistent fabrication that leaves no stone unturned.
Chris Sutton
Chris has been welding since he was 16. He brings his wealth of experience in custom fabrication to Macon by marrying his strong background in design, fabrication, hydraulic, and management skills with his team mentality and aptitude for organization. Most inspired by potential, turning a vision into an end-product is his ultimate satisfaction.
Matt Conley
With over 17 years of experience designing building and supporting equipment for the mining and exploration industry, Matt combines his detailed nature with his business experience at Macon Fabrication. His team mentality and ability to collaborate with others allows him to produce results — and to do so with confidence.

Our fully-equipped, 5,000 square foot machine shop houses 11 machines, including CNC lathes, horizontal boring mills, and digital milling machines, while the adjacent fabrication facility and highly-skilled machinists proficient in manual and CNC machining practices efficiently bring pre and post machining projects to completion and ensure consistency and repeatability by storing all files for future orders, saving time and delivering desired results.

Our facilities include a range of equipment such as band saws for cutting up to 20" structural members, multiple press brakes including a 350-tonne, 14' long press, and a high-definition CNC plasma cutter with a 10' x 20' cutting surface, along with a 6' x 12' water jet table for enhanced precision.
